Since today’s parties are often reduced to flat beats and electro music on the one hand, or endless techno on the other, many people must feel left behind. There’s a lack of DJs simply putting on good music, without restricting themselves to a certain genre.
Hindu Radio DJs don’t care about beatmixing, they just care about putting on good tunes. Arctic Monkeys, Blur and New Order, yes; but also Chase and Status, Dizzee Rascal and Mos Def.
As long as it’s good, they play it. No boundaries. And that, in itself, is the essence of rock ‘n roll.
